Process for International Accreditation of a SSH-SOMESICS Simulation Program.
Preparation and Registration
Before the in-person visit
Visit from the accreditors.

Re acreditación
STEPS TO FOLLOW:
1) Schedule an orientation appointment.
2) Register for the program and submit the initial accreditation payment.
3) Review and approve the accreditation plan proposed by the SOMESICS committee.
OPTIONAL: You may request additional hours for specific consulting.
1) Make the extra payment for the accreditation process.
2) Send evidence for review by SOMESICS. 3) Receive feedback before the visit. 4) Schedule reviewer visits.
Day 1
1) Interview with the authorities of the Simulation Program.
2) Interview with the staff of the Simulation Program.
3) Interview with participants involved in Simulation Program activities.
4) Visit to the facilities of the Simulation Program.
Day 2
1) General observations made by the accreditors.
Tiempo variable (No mayor a 10 días hábiles)

2) Envío de invitación para recepción de reconocimiento de Acreditación Completa o Provisional en el próximo evento presencial de SOMESICS, opcional envío de reconocimiento.
3) Envío de invitación para recepción de reconocimiento de su acreditación en la próxima International Meeting for Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH)
1) Realizar pago anual de mantenimiento de acreditación.
2) Recibir consultoría anual (incluida con el pago de mantenimiento) para establecer plan de re acreditación ó expansión de áreas de especialización del programa de simulación.
3) Generación de evidencias para reacreditación.

Requirements:
To apply for full accreditation, the simulation program must meet the NUCLEAR criteria and choose at least 1 of the 2 areas of specialization of its simulation program: (Education, Evaluation and Measurement or Research)
